This year I was not able to work on a new illustration as I am working on my book project.
But in honor of the ocean I thought I will share an older illustration. Here we go. (Oh and hop over to planet ocean. The prompts are beautiful and inspiring.)
Sweet reminder: Be kind to our ocean.
Do some more effort to protect it. We need the ocean.
The moment we interfered with nature, with the ocean, with the oceanic environment, that exact moment it has become our responsibility to protect all of it.
We brought imbalance, can we get it in balance?
Waters’ intensity
Water runs, it runs some more.
Throughout the world we all adore.
Streams and rivers connect us all
A system itself - don’t bring it to fall.
Water washes through mountain peaks.
Like plenty of tears running down my cheeks.
Water holds memories of this earth.
Every single one has its own worth.
Water runs towards the lowest place
and accumulates in all of its grace.
Glinstering like sapphire blue makes it whole.
Murmuring, soothing and healing my soul.
Roaring waves crashing down on me.
A restless ocean. The stormy sea.
Safeguard the ocean! It is our treasure.
Giving a future to generations with pleasure.
Let clean water flow and flow some more.
Throughout a beautiful world we all adore.
