I am speechless.
By everything that is happening in this world.
I feel frozen by the hatred in this world.
I feel paralyzed by the pain that is inflicted.
I feel nauseous by the knowledge that human beings, men, women, kids are starved to death.
Tears are running over my face.
The cruelty in this world.
An upmost disguised cause making life impossible.
I’m trapped in grief.
The grief for humanity, or its loss.
As an illustrator
how can I paint cheerful pictures for kids,
while children are starved and murdered?
It feels unreal.
As an children’s book author
how can I write hopeful words for kids when hope is buried among the future of an entire generation.
How can we write truthful words, when the truth is twisted?
Where is the empathy?
Where is the humanity?
Where is peace for each and everyone?
I am speechless by everything that is going on in the world.
But the moment we are speechless is the exact moment we do need to speak up.
For love,
for peace,
for humanity,
for freedom,
for equality,
for each and everyone.
